My Favorite : Mascara

Starting From The Left:

  • Avon Mega Effects Mascara : This mascara is different as it doesn't have a wand, instead it has a small handle that can be twisted to the angle you prefer to hold it at. Generally its a good mascara as it give my lashes a lot of length, but despite its unique handle its not really different to any other mascara i own.
  • I have had this mascara for a very long time, as you can see the writing has rubbed of and i can no longer remember where it is from! (if you recognize the packaging please let me know) but it was a good mascara in its time, i think i should throw it out because i don't use it anymore and its quite old.
  • Maybelline New York Define A Lash Mascara : This was the first mascara i ever owned (i stole it from my mums make up bag) and its my favorite one because it doesn't make my eyelashes clumpy and makes them look extremely long. It is better at lengthening and i prefer my lashes to be longer rather than thicker.
  • The Body Shop Define and Lengthen Mascara in brown : There is nothing really special about this mascara i wouldn't recommend it. it claims to be non flaky but mine is (i don't know whether that is because mines old or not) but lets just say I' m not always reaching for this one out of my make-up bag.
  • Avon Spectra Lash Mascara : This mascara is different because it has a dial at the bottom with a choice of numbers 1, 2 & 3. The numbers are to let you choose 'your level of fullness' according to Avon, but it didn't make any difference to me if i had it on 1, 2 or 3. Even without the dial it made my eyelashes very clumpy and was a very wet constituency. i wouldn't recommend it.
  • LA Colors Lash Building Mascara : It is water resistance (although i didn't know that until i looked on the website) but it did past the test (water wise). I like the brush because it is synthetic and separates my eyelashes. Generally a good mascara with no clumps but not much volume so i tend to only put this on my bottom lashes.
  • Collection Does It All 5 In 1 Mascara : This is a really build-able mascara that i was gifted from my friend (Hey Taz). The 5 things it claims to do are to give you curled, volumised, lengthened, conditioned and long lasting lashes, and in my opinion it does!
  • Avon Super Drama Mascara : Because the brush has very spaced out bristles it does annoyingly cause clumps but it doesn't claim to not cause them so can't really criticize it for that. It does claim to make your lashes super thick with lots of volume and i think it definitely does!
  • VIVO Volume Mascara Water Proof : My eyelashes feel as if the haven't got anything on when i wear this which i quite like and for only £1.99, you can't really go wrong.
  • Maybelline New York The Rocket Volume Express : I was so please with this mascara it honestly gives me thick and long lashes and is definitely build-able. This is probably my second favorite one, after the Maybelline New York Define A Lash Mascara.

This one is my FAVORITE! ^

Review - Girl Online Book

Honestly, i love this book! Its such a simply, easy read. (there may be spoilers in this post so sorry if you haven't read it yet)
Its written in the first person making it easier to relate with the characters. My favorite pages are 34 to 35 as i was cracking up with laughter at picturing it in my mind! Although this book was a bit predictable at times (when he shows her the tunnel and starts talking about his dad, I thought he might have died), its still such an amazing book. I received this book on Christmas day and was finished it about 9 O'clock on boxing day because its so well written and really easy to understand. I know there were quite a few rumors about it being ghost written but whether it is or isn't it doesn't matter... in my opinion its a brilliant book and would definitely recommend it to other teens!

Nail Polish: LA. Colors

Beauty Base sell LA Colors nail polishes and lacquers in a variety of different colors with the majority being 99p each! because it was such a bargain, i picked up 5.

I purchased three color graze nail polishes.
Below (starting from left): Illusion, Sea Foam, Wisteria.

I also picked up a nail lacquer in the color 'Vibrant Violet' and a white base coat.

LA Colors claim their 'color craze' nail polishes are; long lasting, chip resistant & quick drying. I would agree that they are quick drying but not very long lasting or chip resistant. I only needed two coats of each polish for a full color payoff.  There is no real difference between a nail lacquer and a nail polish. I think its just another name for it, although some say lacquer is thicker and stronger but i haven't noticed any difference.

Excuse the dodgy paint jobs, I am not very good at painting my nails

Lush Bath Bombs

For my birthday (5th November) and Christmas i received quite a few lush bath products from my family members.

Above: 3 Dragon Eggs, Butterbear, Lord Of Misrule, Father Christmas, Northern Lights, Cinders, Avobath, Christmas Eve, Sex Bomb, Space Girl, Golden Wonder

My Favorite Bath Bomb from lush is the Luxury Lush Pud. I received it for my birthday and was to excited to wait so i have already used it.

A few of my other favorites are...

Father Christmas
Lush described it as the ultimate Christmas bath bomb and when placed in the bath it starts fizzing away the baby pink color and starts turning green. It smells amazing!

Golden Wonder
This is also a Christmas bath bomb. Its covered in glitter and releases vivid blues and greens when placed in your bath. It also smells amazing!

Sex Bomb
This isn't a Christmas bath bomb but is still one of my favorites because it smells so good. It turns your bath water a pretty pink color and claims to clear the mind.
