Oh Polly Clothing: Review

One online clothing Boutique that I think is worth the hype is Oh Polly. It's a clothing brand that I first got to know through Instagram that looked amazing but I was skeptical of the quality because you can't see that through a photo. I think Oh Polly dresses are perfect for special occasions so therefore I ordered my first thing from their for my 18th Birthday. 

I Ordered the Cutting Shape Mini Dress in Berry Red for £35 in a size 4. I loved this dress, the only thing is, It was tiny! Oh Polly sized do run small, it was very tight and the only reason I could actually wear it is because it was backless so my boobs managed to fit in it.

For my Birthday meal to the Steak and Lobster that I have a blogpost on, I wanted to wear this dress called the Get Your Smooth On Knee Length Dress in Tan for £25. Now because I knew the red dress was smaller I decided to order this one in a 6 and this one isn't backless so there was no wayyyy this was gonna do up because It didn't fit my boobs, If I would have forced it, it would have snapped. So I sent this dress back and got a refund and wore a dress I already had to the meal.

Now when Black Friday came and they have 50% EVERYTHING...shook was an understatment! I had been trying all day to get on the site and sitting in ques and I couldn't even get on the site, It also didn't help that I was at college that day so I couldn't constantly keep trying because my teachers were looking at my screen. But just as I had given up hope and my lesson was over I thought why not re-fresh the page one more time... I was on the website! I had no time to browse or contemplate sizing I just had to get it in my basket at pay! 

So for Black Friday I got the  Straight Laced Suede Two Piece in Kahki normally £45 but with the 50% off I paid £22.50! Bargain! 

Also for Black Friday I got the Chain Reaction Suede Two Piece in Grey for £45 which again with the discount was £22.50.

I haven't actually worn this one out yet hence why there is no photo of it on me but I have tried it on and I have the same opinion  with both of these two pieces is that the skirts fit great (size 8) but the tops (size 8) are that bit tooo small again, it does up though so its one step better than the tan dress from before but I would have ideally liked one size up. But the good thing about the Oh Polly two pieces is that they let you pick a different size for the top and the bottom because we not all the same size on top and bottom which I think is amazing!

So from ordering from Oh Polly  I have learnt that their sizing is a tad small, so if you don't have very big boobs and you're getting a backless item I think you could get maybe just one size above your normal size, butttt if you're on the slighty unfair more chestier size like myself I would order 2 maybe even 3 sizes above your normal size to make room for the ladies, because you don't want to be uncomfortable all night.

With all thats been said, Oh Polly gets my stamp of approval for the amazing dress designs and the quality of the items, those two pieces I ordered are such amazing quality you won't have VPL regardless of what underwear you have on that how amazing they are and are sooo soft to the touch!

I will continue to order from Oh Polly for my special occasions or if they have a sale because they are definitely worth it!
