Amazon is such a cheap places to get makeup and I often find myself just adding random items to my shopping basket because I convince myself I need them.
Despite some rubbish makeup I've received from Amazon, I've also found quite a few products that I've ended up loving.
I decided to share with you some of the great products I've found and some of the not so great products I've found.
Starting off with brushes I can honestly say I love all of the brushes I bought and I use them every time I wear makeup.
This first brush is a huge fluffy fan brush ideal for blending out contour and ensuring all my cheek shadows are blending nicely with no harsh lines.
This brush was only £1.49 with £1.00 shipping and was definitely worth it in my opinion.
The next brush is a copy of the NARS ITA brush which normally retails for £43 but this one on Amazon was £2.07 with free shipping. Obviously its not going to be identical to the NARS one but it gives you a beautiful and chiseled out contour for a much cheaper price. The only downside to this brush is the slight malting it gives but its not as bad as other brushes I own and I can easily put up with that.
These next eye-shadow brushes are hands down the best thing I've ever bought from Amazon! Not only do they blend out eyeshadow beautifully they are also the perfect size for my eyes and really allow me to get a perfect eyeshadow look. A plus side to their amazing quality is how pretty the look! They definitely stand out against all my other black and silver brushes. They were only £3.59 and £1.05 shipping which is a bargain in my opinion!
Next up I bought a pallet of matte eye shadows because I wanted some colors that I could use in the crease as transition shades. The pigmentation is out-of-this-world but they aren't as shocking as other cheap eye shadow pallets and work really well in the crease to blend out. The only annoying thing about this pallet is that the shades seem to be duplicated there isn't a huge variety in colors which is why I didn't swatch every single shadow just the ones that looked different.
The pallet was £6.87 with free shipping which didn't break the bank so not too bad in my opinion.
For the swatches I had to keep dipping my finger in the shade in order to get them to that intensity but from the first dip into the shadows the color payoff wasn't too bad.
Next was a face pallet that I was impressed with purely just for one color. The formula of the shadows isn't amazing they're quite chalky, not very buttery but still work just fine on the face. The only two colors I use are the one on the far right and the one on the far left. I use the stark white shade to highlight under my eyes and wipe away my baking and I use the more bronzey shade for contouring with the fake NARS brush from earlier. The bronzey shade reminds me a lot of Benefits Hoola Bronzer but not the formula. The pigmentation isn't outstanding but makes blending out the contour line much easier which I do like. The pallet was £2.52 with free shipping so was definitely worth it in my opinion as well.
Last and probably least to be honest. I order two of the RONGXINUK Liquid Lipsticks, they say they're glosses but they're actually matte liquid lipsticks. I didn't necessarily hate these but they weren't the best thing I've ever ordered. They take about a minute to dry down which isn't too bad but is annoying when you have to sit with your lips still and I can't work out if its these lipsticks or my lips but they just make them look dry and not very smooth because they settle in all the fine lines on my lips. They also weren't particularly comfortable to wear and I felt I had to apply a lot on in order to get the color pay off I wanted. From applying a lot this meant that I had to keep putting the wand in and out of the tube and after a few times of doing this, the doe foot applicator came off completely in the tube so I would have to order a pack of spare applicators to continue using this product and I really don't feel the need to. They were 99p each with free shipping which is not bad at all but still even for that price I didn't have anything very good to say about them. I got shades 26 and 30. Shade 30 was a lot more nude and wearable but that was the one with the broken applicator so therefore I could only swatch shade 26.
