Double Chocolate Cookies : Recipe

The other day i watched Zoe's vlog when she made cookies and wanted to try and make them myself.
For a more detailed recipe, watch Zoe's vlog

but here's my attempt at making them! :)

You'll want to start by pre-heating your oven to 200° Celsius.

You'll need :
200g of baking butter (at room temperature)
1 large egg
Chocolate bars of your choice
75g of cocoa powder
300g of caster sugar
275g of self raising flour

Firstly, you'll want to beat together your sugar and butter. You could hand mix them but i was feeling lazy when i made these. Its finished when its mix together and is smooth and creamy.

Then you need to crack in your egg and mix. Afterwards you need to sieve in your flour to the mixture. I think its best if you add the flour in thirds so you can properly mix it in.

Following that, add in the cocoa powder.

And mix.

Now you can break up the chocolate chunks of your choice. I added milk chocolate because i didn't have anything else but white chocolate would work perfectly. Then mix

Then you'll want to prepare your tray with grease proof paper. Then roll the mixture into dough-balls, you can make them as big or as small as you want. I only made two because only me and my brother wanted a cookie.

I rolled up the rest of the mixture and placed them into a tub to freeze them. I prefer to freeze the rest of the dough balls because when i come home from school, i like to cook them then and have fresh cookies.

You'll then want to cook them for 10 minutes and then leave them to cool when they come out.
Both me and my brother thought they tasted really nice.

Lady Million Paco Rabanne

Oh my goshhhh!!! This is my new favourite perfume! It literally smells amazing, i can't stop smelling my wrist. I smelt this at the airport, on the way back from Finland and i haven't stop wanting it since and today i finally got it! I got it from Boots for £44.50 which is cheaper than Beauty Base. I decided to go for the 50ml size because i knew i would use it everyday. I wouldn't know whether or not to recommend it because everyone has different opinions, especially on scents and its quite a pricey one to buy if your not sure but i would recommend spraying a tester because it might persuade you more than this blog post.

Toffee Popcorn : Recipe

This is the perfect treat for a movie night!

I have a popcorn machine so i cooked my popcorn in there but if you don't have one then you'll want to heat so oil in a large pan with a lid and put 75g of popcorn kernels in and put the lid on.

After a minute or so you'll hear popping, give the pan a good shake then when the popping has stopped take the pan of the heat, being careful not to let the popcorn burn. then place the popcorn in a colander.

In the same pan, you'll need to melt 25g of unsalted butter, then add 4 table spoons of brown sugar (i didn't have any brown sugar so i just used cane sugar which didn't work aswell but still tasted just as good) and 3 table spoons of golden syrup. If you don't have golden syrup you can use honey.

Let it mix and sizzle for a bit then pour the popcorn back in to the pan and remove from the heat.

Mix the popcorn and toffee together and enjoy!

Lush Bubble Bar : Christmas Eve

This Lush christmas eve bubble bar actually smelled quite fresh despite being a christmas scent and made the bath a muted green colour. It didn't create many bubbles so i put some bubble bath in with it, but it may have been because i was crumbling it with one hand. Overall this bubble bar didn't really blow me away and i probably wouldn't buy it again because there are better christmas creations from Lush. Although it did leave my skin quite soft!

By the way, i bought this camera for £30 from Argos as a cheapy camera to take with me for Finland and i can't get rid of the yellow writing in the corner of my pictures and it doesn't even say the right date or time on it? I think ill use my other camera for blog post mostly.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Lip Protectant

I purchased this on my way back from Finland at the airport for €7.99 (i think). I bought this one because i had heard so many good reviews about the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream but i wasn't sure if i wanted to purchase the cream so i decided to go for the cheaper option, the lip protectant. I'm really impressed with this lip balm, it honestly leaves my lips feeling soft and is a really convenient size to fit in my pocket or bag. The smell and taste is a little off putting but then again so is the scent from the Carmex lip balms, so i didn't mind that much. All in all, it stops lips from being chapped and you don't need very much of it, so i would recommend it!

P.S. At the airport i used a few testers and now I'm in desperate need to buy the Clinique Moisture Surge, Clinique Dramatically Different Lotion and the Paco Rabanne Lady Million Perfume!
